Chalk Paint – The Winner
Chalk Paint Color Madness has been the big winner of color madness. Hope you enjoyed.
Whew! It’s been a long four weeks of voting! We’d like to thank everyone for their participation in our Annie Sloan Color Madness bracket competition. It’s been a pleasure seeing the projects that people have done in all the colors, and to see everyone’s devotion to their favorite Chalk Paint hue.
Before we reveal which color won this year we wanted to share some of the projects that people shared with us during the competition.
First we have Andrea’s Old White open kitchen cabinets. The perfect white that goes with everything, it shows off her glassware and red kitchen items nicely.
Second we have Christina’s Arles settee. Can you believe the transformation??? From faded fabric to glorious with just three coats of diluted paint (80-90 parts warmish water to 20-10 parts paint). To learn more about painting upholstery and fabric go here.
So now I bet you’re on the edge of your seat wondering which of the colors one, Aubusson Blue or Duck Egg…Duck Egg or Aubusson Blue?
DUCK EGG BLUE! Ta-da! It was a landslide victory, Aubusson Blue didn’t stand a chance against this gorgeous muted seafoam.
Here’s all of our inspiration pictures that made Duck Egg the people’s choice.
Did you vote for this fabulous hue?
