One of the newest colors recently added by Miss Mustard Seed, Farmhouse White has stolen our hearts.
Not too cold, not too warm, not too yellow, not too brown, not too gray. A nice, subtle white that goes with everything, not just farmhouses!
This fresh color captures the feel of a classic farmhouse with white painted wood siding, that’s nestled in a bucolic valley. Farmhouse White really is a perfect white. Not too cool, not too warm, and covers better than the other whites in the line (Linen and Ironstone).
It plays well with the other neutrals in the line, like Marzipan, Grain Sack, Trophy, Linen, and Ironstone. Use it to lighten other colors, just like with the other two whites in the line.Or just use it in your neutral color palette! It’s wonderful on its own.
Give it a rustic flair, like the table above, by rough sanding with 100 or 150 grit sand paper after your paint has dried. Or keep your furniture feeling fresh and modern by simply applying Furniture Wax when you’re done.
Are you inspired? What will you paint with Farmhouse White?
