Decorating with Chalk Paint® really is more than paint. It is a way of looking at a space and pulling it all together.

The new half bath at The Maine Country Home shows a perfect (at least I think so) combination of flea market finds mixed with antiques and art. All of the elements tie together.

I had wanted to use an old dresser as a vanity for a long time. Then I found the onyx vessel sink. The dresser was painted in Graphite with a Clear Wax top coat. The top and drawers are finished with water based poly.

The walls are painted in Cream, and lightly waxed. The trim, which you can not see, is painted in Old White.

The antique mirror reflects the lovely onyx bowl, which is where the color scheme started. A faucet to match the vanity and one of our antique charts.

As you can see decorating with Chalk Paint is easy. The ease of painting and the colors make it a snap to pull together a complete look in any room.

In fact I think taking the pictures was harder than decorating the guest bath.
