Efex™ and Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint | Maine Country Home

We are having a great time in the barn getting a bunch of new projects done. One of the projects we are working on is testing our Efex™ Decorative Latex Moldings. We wanted to practice, and see how all of our paint lines, stains, and finishes work on these bendable beauties.

We know that Chalk Paint® goes over anything, but were thrilled to find that Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint without Bonding Agent works perfectly as well.

We did this fun sample in Apron Strings. I can see this on a great country piece with these lovely country moldings as a feature.  While you can see a little light wood stain through the sanding, it would also work if you stained the molding first with Curio.

Of course you can always add a top coat of Antiquing Wax or White Wax.

Just one more way to spice up your pieces as we go from drab to fab.
