February Colors

Wow, where did January go?! It just seems like yesterday we were getting excited about the January Milk Paint colors of the month, Ironstone and Bergere.

Last month’s colors were very cool, but the February colors are all about warmth and love. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Why not paint up a little token for your special someone in one of the Milk Paint colors for February…

Aren’t they just lovely? If they don’t get you thinking about candle lit dinners and boxes of chocolates I don’t know what will. But you know, these colors are so much more than how they first appear. They’re more than little girls’ rooms and tutus.

Apron Strings is a raspberry/coral color. Think vintage or retro decor when using this color. When mixed with Ironstone, Tricycle, or Outback Petticoat you can make varying shades of coral.

ARABESQUE

Think ballet tights, dusty pink tutus, and pale tea roses and you’ll have a good idea what to expect from this color. Decidedly feminine, it is also surprisingly neutral and can go way beyond nurseries. Lighten with Linen to make a barely-there pink, or mix with Grain Sack to make it more muted.
