Flow Blue Color Profile
We love painting with all shades of blue. We haven’t found blue hue we don’t like, and there’s a lot out there! Luckily there’s so many great colors to choose from in the Milk Paint line, so we’re covered no matter what the project. One of our favorites is Flow Blue.
Flow Blue is a rich blue that’s deeper than French Enamel, but lighter than Artissimo. It’s named after the blues found on antique flow blue china. Layer under French Enamel for a subtle contrast, it also pairs well with Boxwood.
Flow Blue looks great in all settings, coastal, country, modern, traditional, Scandinavian…and it pairs well with many other colors.
Pair with bright, crisp whites, deep reds, and other shades of blue.
(Ironstone, Tricycle, Bergere, Flow Blue)
Keep your color palette soft with yellows, light greens, and warm whites.
(Linen, Mustard Seed Yellow, Luckett’s Green, Flow Blue)
Use color sparingly in a modern palette. Accents of bold, saturated colors against neutrals make for a clean aesthetic.
(Farmhouse White, Marzipan, Outback Petticoat, Flow Blue)
What do you think of this versatile color? Where would you use Flow Blue in your home?
