French Putty for a classical look or an industrial look.

French Putty

French Putty – I know a funny color name, but Annie Sloan does not want us to name our mixes so it’s really just a description.

I wish I could say that this was an original idea but no way! The creative genius behind this mix is Jonathon Marc Mendes from Painted Love. A past painter in residence for Annie Sloan he is just a wizard.

From him through us to you here is the mixing instructions for French Putty

Mix 3 parts Olive with 1 part Graphite, 1 part Honfleur, and 1 part Louis Blue

As he said, it is a great color for a classic French look or today’s more modern industrial style.

To see more of this genius work go to @joathonmarcmendes  on Instagram. You will love this feed he really is one to watch.

xoxo Lydia
