New Milk Paint Colors

I can’t wait to try these colors.

I am still on the other side of the world, New Zealand, as I write this post but I have heard rumours. The new Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint colors have arrived. From everything I have seen and heard they are all very yummy.

First, is Apron Strings, a lovely shade of pinkish red. I can see a country table base in this color with a stained top. It’s in my future, I just know it.

The second color is Trophy. I really love how Marion names these colors. You can see from the pictures she has taken, that this silver tarnished grey can make a big splash. And of course, we have a couple of Trophies to display as well. I see a cupboard in this color. Or it will be a great color to use as a layer, maybe to make a driftwood finish.

Finally, Curio, which is also a MMS color of the month. Curio is a lovely rich walnut brown. Why brown? I know we spend a lot of time getting rid of brown furniture, but it will be a perfect color for undercoats, stains, and washes.

I can’t wait! Good thing I’m on a jet plane tonight, so I don’t have too much longer to wait!

And a big thank you to Miss Mustard Seed for the great photos.

New Classes

We still have a few spots left for our Saturday class. Join us for a fun day of painting, and don’t forget to bring you own piece!
