Opening Day | Maine Country Home

What a whirlwind trip…less than three weeks after signing the lease to our location in Thomaston we were able to open. And what a day to open! The Fourth of July is always a big celebration in Thomaston, and this year was no different! I’d like to say the town threw us a parade just for opening, but I’m not sure anyone would believe us.

The day turned out gorgeous, the rain held off until much later in the afternoon. We were able to have our door open, and had people steadily streaming in. Talked to lots of new people about Chalk Paint and Milk Paint! Lots of conversions to the decorative painting world!

Now I know you’re all dying to see what we did to the space, and I won’t keep you waiting any longer! Feast your eyes on the new location of Maine Country Home…

Now look at it!

The space looks exactly how we envisioned it, and we certainly wouldn’t be here without the help and support of our spouses, friends, and family. A BIG thank you to all of them for putting up with us through long nights, early mornings, and flooring meltdowns!

Come visit us if you’re in the area!
