Summer is always a busy season in Maine. After all the license plate says it is vacation land.

Adding new inventory, especially some pretty painted furniture painted with Chalk Paint™ Decorative Paint. New inventory is always a great excuse for rearranging all the furniture around in the store. Last week, we were busy busy busy both painting, and repositioning the store. At different times we end up with different colors, but this week we have shades of blue in one corner, and some lovely green pieces in the other. They bracket a great antique dry sink.

For shades of blue we have the navy and white harvest table, and a cute Duck Egg Blue with white trim side table. The accessories include a great antique quilt, and a pitcher and bowl set. The quilt is an antique hand sewn and hand quilted top with a new back.

On the green side, we have a fabulous jelly cupboard made from repurposed wood, two great side chairs, and a darling desk. The desk has a green base and a whitewashed top and was inspired from my vacation earlier this summer. We will save the green for a later post.
