My whole purpose for being in High Point, NC for the last four days was to visit the Annie Sloan Unfolded Studios for their in-depth Chalk Paint® stockist training.  It was pretty exciting to be there, and to meet other stockists from all over the country.  For once I wasn’t the person travelling the furthest!  We had people from Colorado, Ontario, and Arizona.  I think they were fighting for the Most Distance Traveled award.

Lots of different techniques, I have pieces of furniture just waiting to be painted…I couldn’t get back on the plane fast enough!

We even got a shipment of Chalk Paint® during class.  Thanks dude!

My neighbor was quite clever too.  Can’t get enough of Antibes Green Chalk Paint® this spring, especially with the Dark Wax.  Also, loving the new wax brushes!

My clever neighbor was much better at stenciling than I was…lacy Versailles over Old White Chalk Paint®, oh so gorgeous.

She also found me that awesome Maine piece of paper to put on my Decoupage board, how could I resist?

Now my mind is brimming with ideas and color palettes, can’t wait to get back in the barn to let loose on some furniture!
